This Ramadan, we invite you to join us for evening centred around celebration, community and reflection. We will also be raising awareness of Ramadan and the importance of it to our Muslim community. We will be joined by Sheik Abdullah Andalusi , an international speaker, thinker and intellectual activist for Islam and Muslim affairs, who will deliver an inspirational talk and share important reminders.
This event is open to all staff and students and has been organised in collaboration with the Centre for Equity and Inclusion, LMSU, London Met ISOC, Pakistani Society, Arab Society and the Gamers Society.
As part of this event, we will also be fundraising to support those affected by recent earthquakes in Turkey and Syria.
Structure of Event
The will start at 7:00pm, after which Sheik Abdullah Andalusi will deliver an inspirational talk. This will be followed by food & networking before the event closes at 9:00pm.
