✨ About this event –
One year ago, in December 2024, this sisterhood (for brown women and Muslim women) began with a small group chat and since then, it’s blossomed into something truly special. We’ve shared stories, laughter, reflections, and over the past year and we’ve hosted 8 beautiful events – from iftars to meetups, brunches, day trips and heartfelt conversations. Now, it’s time to celebrate our first anniversary together – our 9th event – with style, gratitude, and glamour. Join us for a luxurious three-hour private lunch at Qavali – a stunning, fine-dining restaurant inspired by the rich, soulful cultures of the Silk Road. This isn’t just a meal, it’s a celebration of growth, sisterhood, and everything we’ve built together this year.

Date: Saturday 6th December 2025 (Please note – deadline to secure your place is Friday 14th November as requested by the venue)
🕐 Time: 1:00 PM – 4:00 PM
📍 Venue: Qavali, 60 Broad Street, Brindley Place, Birmingham, B1 2HJ
🚆 Nearest station: Birmingham New Street (approx. 7-minute walk). There is on-street parking off Broad Street and Q-carpark in Brindley Place.
🥘 Cuisine: Halal fine dining (with a fusion of Middle Eastern, South Asian & Turkish flavours)
💰 Deposit: £10 per person (deducted from your final bill on the day)
👗 Dress Code: Glamorous, pretty, and sophisticated. Qavali has its own dress code too (smart and sophisticated) so please come dressed to impress!

🎟️ How to Secure Your Place
- Spaces are very limited to keep this intimate and special.
- Please secure your spot by purchasing your £10 deposit ticket by Friday 14th November 2025. This excludes Eventbrite fees.
- The remaining balance will be paid individually at the restaurant on the day.
- Please note: Deposits are non-refundable once paid, as they go directly towards securing our private space at Qavali.
- We’ll be dining in Qavali’s beautiful private area. If our group reaches a certain number of people or more, we’ll have the space all to ourselves, otherwise we’ll enjoy a shared section within their elegant private dining room.
