Experience Islam is part of the Understanding Islam initiative launched by the Ahmadiyya Muslim Women’s Association UK in 2022. Experience Islam provides a series of interactive and immersive CPD accredited courses designed for Teachers of Religious Education in the UK.
Our courses are free of charge and prepared in accordance with SACRE frameworks.
PROGRAMME
4.00 – Beliefs and Practices in Islam including Workshop on the Holy Qur’an and Islamic Calligraphy
5.15 – Tour of the Baitul Futuh Mosque
5.45 – Preparing for Prayer – Demonstration of Ablution
6.00 – Join the Iftar (breaking of the fast) and observe the Maghrib Prayers
6.30 – Refreshments and Discussion
7.00 – Close
This Course is aimed at Religious Education Teachers of KS1-KS2 and qualifies for 3 hours of CPD.
